Typographic Portraits

Create four (4) typographic portraits portraying your name as described by a given word.Use the two words provided for the first two, use the two words that you chose and researched for your second two.

Getting Started:

First choose a font that represents your word

Next create outlines. Manipulate your text to look like your word. Add color or a gradient to help your text look like your adjective.

Typographic Playing Cards

For this challenge, you will design the front and back of a playing card using nothing but typography. Your design will include the integration of alphabetical and numerical systems and should be based on the one type face in which you’ve researched. Your design should be sensitive to the history of the font chosen and highlight its best features.

Logo & Package Design

You’ve just been commissioned by the Museum of Fine arts to create package design for candy bars they will be selling in the gift shop and cafe. They want the design to be based on the works of art and art movements the museum loves so much. Step one is designing a logo. Choose an art movement, research and find out all you can about this art movement (what the inspiration to draw/paint like this was, when did this take place, who were notable artists and what are some notable works or art, etc) and create 16 logo designs for this art movement.
